1. About Agam Forte

Agam Forte is a counselling and career guidance practice based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, founded and operated by Yogeshwari, a Counselling Psychologist and Certified Career Counsellor and Relationship & Family Therapist.

Our services include, but are not limited to:

• Career counselling for students
• Career restart guidance for women returning to work
• Marital counselling
• Screen time addiction counselling
• Mental health counselling for stress and anxiety

These Terms apply to individual clients booking sessions through our website. Separate agreements may apply to schools, corporates, or other institutional partners.

2. Eligibility and Consent

You must be at least 18 years old to book a session on your own behalf. By booking a session, you confirm that you meet this requirement or are booking on behalf of an eligible dependent.

For clients under the age of 18, counselling sessions require the written or verbal consent of a parent or legal guardian, who may also be required to participate in intake or review sessions as appropriate.

You confirm that the information you provide during registration and intake is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

3. Booking and Scheduling

Sessions may be booked via our website, phone, email, or WhatsApp, and delivered in-person at our Chennai location, online via video/audio call, or as part of a scheduled school/corporate workshop.

Session timings are confirmed at the time of booking. Please arrive or log in on time; late arrivals may result in a shortened session at the same fee.

Agam Forte reserves the right to reschedule a session in the event of unforeseen circumstances, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you as early as possible.

4. Fees and Payment

Session and program fees are as communicated at the time of booking or as listed on our website.

Full payment is generally required to confirm a booking, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Fees are subject to change; any changes will not affect sessions already booked and paid for.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Sessions cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours before the scheduled time are eligible for a full refund or a free reschedule, at your choice.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session, or missed sessions, are not eligible for a refund.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 3 business days to the original mode of payment.

Agam Forte reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a session due to practitioner unavailability or emergencies, in which case a full refund or free reschedule will be offered.

6. Confidentiality

All information shared during counselling sessions is treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent, except as described below.

Limits of confidentiality: Confidentiality may be broken, without prior consent, in situations involving:

• Risk of serious harm to yourself or others
• Suspected abuse or neglect of a minor or vulnerable person
• A legal obligation to disclose (e.g., court order)

Where a parent or guardian is involved (for clients under 18), general progress may be shared with them, while specific session content will be handled with appropriate discretion.

7. Not a Substitute for Emergency or Medical Care

Agam Forte's counselling services are not a substitute for emergency psychiatric or medical care. If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis or is at risk of harm, please contact a local emergency service or a crisis helpline immediately, or go to the nearest hospital.

8. Client Responsibilities

• Engage with sessions honestly and in good faith.
• Inform your counsellor of any relevant medical or psychological conditions, medications, or ongoing treatment.
• Understand that counselling outcomes depend on your active participation, and that Agam Forte does not guarantee specific results (e.g., a particular career outcome, resolution of a marital dispute, or elimination of a habit).

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Agam Forte and its practitioners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the specific session or program in question.

10. Website Use and Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and materials — is the property of Agam Forte and may not be reproduced or distributed without prior written permission.

You agree not to misuse the website (e.g., through unauthorized access, data scraping, or introducing malicious code).

Our website may contain links to third-party sites; Agam Forte is not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

11. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our website and services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described there.

12. Amendments to These Terms
